Sympathy cards.....

Sympathy cards!  We  all need them but we usually don't have them when we do need  them.  I needed a sympathy card last week so I made one.  This week I needed  another sympathy card so I took my own advice and made two.  You have to cut the card stock in half to begin with so you might as well make the second card.  It's a lot easier when you have all the stamps, inks and tools sitting out to make the one card, to go ahead and make the second card.   One messy desk + two cards = happiness!

I searched Pinterest for a minute and CASEd a card from Connie Babbert.   I used a different flower stamp and used some of these clear epoxy shapes that are in the Occasions catalog.   Did you see those or did you miss them?  They are on page 33 and you get 176 for $7 !!!   A  great deal in my book and I think the way I took the picture you can see the these "little dew drops" on the flowers.

The flower is from the Sale a Bration FREE with a $50 purchase.   The set is Amazing You and has a coordinating thinlits set that you can get for FREE with a $100 purchase.  The thinlits will be available in the new upcoming catalog that comes out in June, but not the stamp set.   The stamp set is just available til March 31st!

Monday's Minute Tip - In just 87 days the New Annual Catalog will be out! We don't know all the things that are going to retired, but what we do know is this: The 2016-2018 In Colors will be retiring and that includes card stock, inks, DSP with those colors, ribbons, embellishments....anything with those colors. What you need to do now is purchase any of those that you need/want because they will sell out in hrs when the Retiring List comes out sometime in April. Don't delay, Order yours TODAY!

AND here is a card I made in about a minute..... OK about 3 minutes using Flirty Flamingo ink, marker and card stock. I used the marker to color on the rubber stamp the colors I needed and then stamped on white card stock. I repeated the coloring again for the 2nd flower. I used the Flirty Flamingo ink pad, squeezed the case of the pad to get ink on the lid and used Aqua painter and that ink to color in the flowers. I added some of those cute epoxy stickers (dew drops) on the front of the card. It really was fast.

I hope this inspires you to make 2 cards the next time you get creating to make a card.
