ONSTAGE Orlando Goodies and More

I guess life happenings got in my way of posting to my Blog.

A new goal for the New Stampin' Up! Year - Share more and not just on Facebook.

When searching the internet for some ideas, I went to look on My Create Ink - SU Color Lab - I knew I had checked months ago and NOTHING NEW, no new In Colors or the Color Renovation :(
I decided to check it because one of the colors was an older InColor!   To My surprise, I found that they have updated their site, so I immediately went on the site and donated and now will go back and search the color combinations I was going to search.

Did you know they have support Stampin' Up!s, CTMH and Copic colors!!!   I have it saved on the sidebar of my blog!   I am a happy camper.   If you use that site, I would suggest maybe giving a donation every now and then, even a small one could help keep it up to date quicker!

OK - So .......I will share a few things in the days and weeks to come.   BUT THE BIGGIE -

I earned the Incentive Trip to Greece!!!   Can you tell I am excited!!!!??!!!

Now I need to learn how to put that widget on my sidebar that says, cruising with SU to Greece!

Here's some of the goodies I received at ONStage Orlando.   I can't believe it has been almost 2 weeks ago!

and here is a card from my class last week.  This is how I feel about the snow!!!   Don't like the cold associated with it and since living in Florida for over 3 years now, I like it even less!

Today on my Facebook Page - Stampin with Stampergirl, I posted some cards I mailed out today.   #makeacardsendacard    I took 3 from my stash and picked three people, randomly that I thought could use a smile in their mailbox and sent the cards to them.

Stay tuned, there will be more coming - frequently!

MY best tip for those pesky little dimensional tops!

You know those little dimensional tops!   You take them off to adhere an item to your project, and try to throw away, or just sit aside.    They get everywhere.....on the floor, tracked all over the house. and even outside, or in your car, you bed!

I came up with a simple solution and very inexpensive, plus you can give these little gems to your Stampin' Friends.

I sure wish I could keep up with blogging, but I am not good at trying to juggle all the technology!   I will share when I can and maybe I will get better at it.    Just not at this time.   This post for instance was drafted back over a month ago.   I needed to resize the photo.    Life just got in the way!

ENJOY LIFE!!!

MAke a card Send a card...Make 2

Whenever I get out supplies to make a card I always make two cards, well almost always. If I'm cutting the card stock in half  that will make two cardbases so I'll make two cards. For these cards below I used the swirly bird stamp set and the matching thinlits.  I just love this set, it is great for any occasion, young or old.  I made the two cards at the same time, along with my sister who made two cards too.  One was  a thinking of you, the other  Enjoy the simple things in life!  just because that's a great thing to enjoy the simple things in life.    I CASEd the card off of Pinterest using the bird from the Petal Pallette set since that was the only bird we had and the matching thinlits cutting him out was super easy.

SO   Make a card and Send a Card and make a difference in someone's life

Perennial birthday kit

This post was delayed..I had pneumonia again, so these next few posts are a few weeks late
The other day a friend of mine and I got together  to make the cards from the Perennial Birthday Kit.   We both have the stamps and the kits.  In just a few hours, we completed most of the cards.   I completed  11 cards and she completed all 16 of hers later that day.   I plan on finishing mine tonight.  This kit is an awesome kit to give to anyone as a gift, filled with the cards or keep and when you are creating a card for someone's birthday that is later in the year....you have a place to put it.   I love the box, it is gorgeous and the dividers are great with places to write birthdays on each month.  The box is super cute and holds all of the cards and more.

Here are her cards, all finished....

Here are mine, I mixed up greetings and orientation of how I wanted them to look.

Hope you get creative today....

Year of Cheer DSP Birthday Card

Hello Stampers!

As I write this post, I am getting ready to head to Hartford Connecticut in two days to attend Stampin' Up!'s Onstage conference and am pretty excited.   I will get to attend CenterStage Friday before the Onstage event.   Meet with stampers that are part of a group I will be riding with and meet new stampers I have never met.   Learn new tips, get the new catalog!!!! and have some awesome make and takes.   Next week I will post photos and some things from Onstage.

I decided to try out the year of cheer DSP that we had in the holiday catalog. I cut a piece of the starburst paper and sponged it with some of my favorite colors.   I took a piece of black Cardstock and put a piece of the adhesive sheets behind it and ran it through the Big Shot with the Birthday thinlits die.  It was so easy to adhere the Happy Birthday to the card.   I mounted it on a Marina Mist card base.   I was going to add some rhinestones, but figured I would save those to add when I actually use the card.....If going to one of my grandsons or nephews, I won't be adding those.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my creations whether I come up with the designs or I CASE completely...

Get creative today and make a card and send a card!!!

Birthday Card - great for teens

This card I made my great nieces.   I sent the first one out since her birthday was yesterday!   Whew, on time!   I CASED this card from Ann Clemmer, a fellow demo.   While we are on opposite sides of the US, we get inspiration from all over.   I think it was a twitter feed and I am rarely on twitter.    Spending too much of life with family and friends, but I do see tweets from time to time.

The DSP I used is the Picture Perfect DSP 6x6 stack in the Occasions catalog, it is probably one of my favorites ever  I have used over half the pack and plan on getting another pack to help with with all the birthday cards I send.

I used the Epic Celebrations stamp set from Sale a bration and the Celebration You thinlits also in the Sale a bration catalog, but those thinlits will be in the upcoming new catalog in June!

I layered the DSP with black and used black  card stock for the thinlit greetings too.   I glued them on with the Fine tip glue pen.    I colored the sneakers in with Wisteria Wonder reinker and aqua painter.   The other one I did for my other great niece I colored the sneakers in Pool party and added glue and dszzling diamonds glitter on the shoes.

Hope you get a chance to get crafty today.    I have Emma duty.....She's my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter, so you know I am not getting too much accomplished in the crafting area today!!!   But I'm loving spending time with her.

Post it note Holder and only 8 more days of Sale a bration

I have been carrying a post it note holder I found in my craft room.   I probably made it 10 years ago.

So for April's class we are making an updated version.   Here is my old one.   I have been using it often since I found it about a week ago.

Here is the one we are making in class. I used Emerald Envy card stock and ink,  Peekaboo Peach ribbon, card stock and ink and whisper white card stock and the Everyday Label Punch.

Here is the one I made on my Facebook business page, Stampin with stampergirl on Wednesday, check out the video too how I made it there.    Stampin with stampergirl

I used Flirty Flamingo card stock, ink and striped ribbon, Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White card stocks too.  This time I used the Tailored TAg Punch that is in the Occasions catalog in the True Gentlemen Suite....I have used this punch many times, but none for guy cards.....yet.

Countdown to end of Sale a bration with Pandas!!!

There are only a few more days to take advantage of Sale a bration....  Nine, yes just 9 more days!

Today I am showing some cards I made with the Panda set - which I didn't want!!!!   I just wasn't excited about that set.....that is until I started seeing so many cute projects made with it.....so I ordered it and when it arrived, it was in French!   Even though this set is one for free, I really wanted it in English and had some plans to use it for my husband for our Anniversary February 14th.   So, I put it in an envelope and sent it back and got an English version.

I used it to make this card and this treat holder for our Anniversary.   I made my husband 25 cards and treats for our 25th Anniversary.  This treat holder is really tiny....It held a mint hard candy!

This is one of the cards I made him using this Panda set

I had my Stamparatus and wanted to try it out.....So I used this set again to make a Thank You card for my nephew.    This is the card I made for my nephew who brought my computer "up to speed"   It was so slow...

Aligning up the Thank You's straight was SO simple with this tool....really another item "I didn't want or need"  or so I thought til I got one!

Here is another Panda card I made with the same color theme.... Emerald Envy and Lemon Lime Twist.   I made 25 of these and sent them out to customers and friends back in Maryland who I have not seen in a few months.   I really miss them....and my daughters and grandchildren !!!!!!

I shoulda coulda used the Stamparatus for this card, but I didn't....   I thought about it the other night when I did a Facebook live video over at Stampin with Stampergirl. - check it out...    With the 2 plates to mount stamps on and 2 sides of each plate, I could of made these is probably half the time that it took me.

Live and Learn.    The Panda set is only going to be avaible to get for FREE for 9 more days.

So head on over to my website, place an order for $50 or more and you can choose the Panda Set for FREE.   or check out all the other FREEBIES you could choose from.    When you place your order, use the Hostess Code:  4FNXM3NE to get in the drawing for Hostess Freebies that I give away each month....but you gotta use the Hostess code.

A double open card

I loved this card   If I can figure out how to do a GIF, I will and share how it opens!

A short post today since I am on the run today.....Visit my Mom and Adela

Church to stock the children's Sunday School classrooms.

This card opens up by pulling outward the inner layer of the Berry Burst card stock.     The base was made with Berry Burst card stock and for the moving part too.  There is a layer of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and then the Picture Perfect DSP on the card.   The greeting is from the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set using Lemon Lime Twist ink.   I added 2 ribbons next to the greeting to give it a little sparkle.   The ribbons is the Lemon Lime Twist striped and the Berry Burst Silver edged ribbons.

When I figure out how to make a GIF, I will show just how cute this card is!!!!

Sorry for the short post earlier today and was glad I could add this description to this post.

Brusho and Facebook live

I opened my Brusho and tried it for the first time on Facebook live  It was going so well....Well that is until I found out the audio portion was not working!!!!  Here are the cards I made with the papers I used the Brusho on.

It was quick and easy,  the longest part was letting it dry.  You can also heat set it, which I did a little bit after the video.  Then the papers were curled so I set them under three acrylic blocks for the night and they were almost completely flat come morning.

I used the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and Swirly Bird stamp sets with versamark ink and white embossing powder.   Then came the Brusho and water - Prussion Blue and yellow.   I loved how they turned out.  I die cut the Butterfly using the yellow and Gamboge powders and the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

The fourth piece I haven't done anything with yet.  What should I do?   I might cut out some dragonflies, or butterflies or maybe some flowers.   What do you think?

It was really a lot of fun, getting messy.   The mess was kept at a minimum.    You can go to my Facebook Business Page, Stampin with stampergirl;  and check out the video....of course there is no sound, maybe til the end.!

If you have these Brusho colors and haven't opened them, like me just waiting....Get them out and play.   Make sure you have some paper down to protect your workspace.   Make sure you have a paper towel or two to help with excess water.   And Get Creative!

Scrapbooking traditional, and Memories and More style

I haven't done scrapbooking for years, but that is going to change..

I founds some ladies who want to do some scrapbooking and truth be told.....I have a lot to do.    I am in the process of transferring some memories from my first trip to Disney with my girls.  Now they are married with children of their own.

This first page is from our Memories and More style of scrapbooking or memory keeping.   The 6 x 8 photo pocket pages have divided areas you add your photos or papers, embellishments, memorabilia to each section and you are done.   Turn it over and put another set on the other side, or leave blank.

This next page is the same style of memory keeping, just a larger page, 12 x 12

Here is a 2 page spread, traditional style.   12 x 12 paper.   places for photos and journaling  Just need page protectors and your done.   This layout is so versatile and could be for any occasion, trip or memories.

If you have stayed with me to the end of this post, this maybe your lucky day.   The first person who I can hand deliver these to who comments on this post will get these.   The rule is you must comment here and as long as you can meet me either in Palm Bay, Florida area or Baltimore, Maryland area.  You win!

I hope these inspire you to get those photos out of the boxes and into albums!

Petal Palette

Petal Palette is such a great Suite of products in the Occasions catalog.   I have used some of the flowers on projects and cards.   This suite has stamps, framelits and DSP and I have used them all.   This card, I used inks and markers directly onto stamps then stamped them onto the card stock, changing colors.   I used washi tape to block off the area of the greeting.    I mounted the stamped panel with dimensionals onto a white panel that was embossed with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and onto a Pool Party card.   I added the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon after putting the card together, in between the dimensionals.

I am waiting on Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack.  I don't know how I missed this in the first few hundred times I looked through the Occasions Catalog!!!  A HUGE BARGAIN!  $10 - gets you 72 double sided cards, 52 are sized 3x4 and 20 are 4x6 along with 2 accent sheets, 2 cardstock sticker sheets and 2 acetate card overlays with white print.   I wonder how many cards can be made with just this one card pack, I am sure more than 72!   Memory pages!

This pack is on backorder, but can still be ordered.   I don't know if these will be in the next catalog, but if you order these while on backorder, you will get them when they arrive in the warehouse.   After the retired List comes out sometime early next month, if they are on the Retired List, I am sure they will sell out fast!    Check out Pinterest for these card packs, there are so many gorgeous cards and projects made with these.

Want to order yours?   Go to my website and order them, the item number is 145952.   Use Hostess Code 4FNXM3NE, this will get your name entered for the Hostess Rewards.   Order $50 or more and get a FREE Sale a bration item-your choice from all the offerings in the Sale a bration brochures.  Also with a $50 order, you will get an easel calendar from me....in your favorite color!

Hope you get a chance to get creative today.

My cards from my class in January

This post got lost somewhere along the way.....So I am at least sharing the photos of our class in January...The first card is the most chosen free stamp in Sale a bration, at least with my customers.

This first card is a Sympathy card - we all need them and this is so quick and easy, and in any color.  Make a few in different colors to have on hand when you need one.   It uses the Heartfelt Blooms that is a Free stamp set during Sale a bration for a $50 order.

The 2nd is a Ghirardelli candy holder -   The first time I made it was probably 8-10 years ago.  I have made it several times using the word window punch.  BUT now the Classic Label punch works even better to hold a Ghirardelli candy.

The 3rd project is a masculine Valentine card, Anniversary card, or just Love you card.   I CASEd from Pinterest of course.

This last card uses this amazing items from the Painted with Love Suite on pages 18-19 of the Occasions catalog.   Don't you Love this designer series paper?   It is so much more in person.  I used the dies and stamps from the Sure do Love you set and framelits.  The lined heart framelit is from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits in the Annual catalog.

Here are all the projects together.

Hope these cards inspire you to share the love!!!!
