I am not sure what product from SAB that I will miss the most.......maybe the DSP, it is So beautiful.   Last Saturday I held a Scallop tag topper punch class, it was a lot of fun, even had some do overs.....and sponging to disguise some ink booboos.....Here are the projects we made in the class.
This first card, is something like the card we did last month for stamp club, I CASEd the card from SCS but can't remember who.....when  I find out whose card it was I will update this post.
The DSP is the DSP paper that I am going to miss...and computer issues.... Such a cute card using the new scallop tag topper punch.   Want to order the punch, contact me. Today and get a free gift from me.

Easter Treat Holder

had Stamp Club this week and one of the projects was this super easy candy treat holder.

I used the oval framelits, the 4th one from the smallest.   I stamped the Happy Easter from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set using Marina Mist ink.   The back of the treat holder is Marina Mist card stock and the front is some retired Subtles DSP.   You know how that paper accumulates, and this is a great way to use up some smaller pieces.  The treat coupes are a real bargain at $2.95 for 12 cups.    Even with shipping and tax, they are only 29 cents each!!!!  The circles to punch out for the treat cups is the 1 3/4" circle punch.   I used some of the yarn from the Sale a bration accessory pack to tie a loop at the top, so you can hang for a Easter Tree or anywhere.

This one, I added something...

And the I decided to add to it, so I stamped the bunny from the stamp set, Baby we've grown from the  Occasions  catalog and colored it using the aqua painter and the lids of ink pads and cut it out using my paper snips! they are the best.   Want to make some of these Easter Treat holders, contact me to order any supplies you need, do it soon as I will be placing an order on Saturday an you could save on shipping and I will be giving gifts to all who place an order this week, no matter how small.

Enjoy!

Spiral flower !!!!!

In the Occasions catalog on page 32 is a new Big Shot die...It's up in the top corner and I skimmed over it more than once.    A few weeks after receiving my copy of this magazine, I saw some projects using this die, so I purchased it.   It arrived and promptly sat on a table in my craft room...it sat and sat, still In the wrapper.  FOR OVER A MONTH!  Does anyone else do this??????

Well, last week I attended a Stampin' Up! Demo only meeting...not boring like most meetings!!! here we have lots of fun, learning new techniques, seeing products demonstrated by fellow demonstrators, swapping card fronts, and of course stamping.  There is recognition for sales and new demos and chances of getting free stampin up goodies!   OK so now the demonstration starts with this new die, cut card stock to fit on top of die, two pieces,  run thru the Big Shot now you have two.   Start a center and twirl til you get to the larger end and secure with hot glue!    That was it!! OMG So so easy. And so so pretty..   They had samples using all kinds of color combinations.  I only took a partial picture, but aren't they gorgeous???

I came home opened the package, took out the die, measured around the cutting part do the die and cut 2 pieces of card stock 4" x 4 1/2".   I put both of them on top of the die and ran it thru the big shot.  On one of the spirals I sponged some same color ink on the edges, I think next time I will do more ink. Next take a pair of tweezers and start turning from small edge til you get to the large end, then have your hot glue gun on and ready and put some glue on last Petal and press.

The leaves are scraps of card stock cut out with the Sizzlet Little Leaves die, pg 188 of the regular catalog and only $5.50.

If you want to learn more about this Stampin' Up! Big shot die or any of the great products we carry, just leave me a message here or contact me.

Enjoy!

When I attended Convention last year, I participated in a 3x3 card swap and then made about 100 regular sized card swaps.    I received so many great swaps and have used many to CASE (copy and share everything) and to made exact copies of the swap card and give to friends and family.   One of the cards I received from a friend, from Leadershp 3 years ago, Jackie Bultje, I just changed the color of the card base and added some Crystal effects to the cherries!

Speaking of  Convention, leadership! friends........In my almost 10 years of being a demonstrator, I have attended 11 conventions, and 2 Leaderships and met hundreds of new friends, all thru this wonderful company, Stampin' Up!.   My life changed for the better the day I signed up to be a demonstrator...I signed up to get the discount, never expecting to demonstrating products, teaching classes, or having a stamp club!   Now 10 years later, still enjoying Sharing what I Love.  In November I reached a milestone, $100,000.00 in lifetime sales!!!   WOO HOO.   I celebrated by giving gifts to every customer who had ordered $50 in these years and to my top 10 customers, I had planned something special for late in December, however I had a medical incident and completely put that on hold.   Now with this crazy winter, lots of snow and cold!!!  I am going to reschedule it for sometime in April...

Birthday Card Class - New Stamps and Accessories from the Occasions Catalog

Wow! has it been almost a month since I posted???   Where does the time go?  This gloomy, cold, snowy weather sure hasn't gone as fast as time has....Is everyone ready for Spring as much as I am?

Last month we travelled to Florida for our Anniversary, vacation and to start our search for a home to Snowbird to!   We saw a few houses and since coming home, the real estate agent has sent us some listings for others.   I can't wait to be in Florida for the winters!!!!

While in Florida, I held a Birthday Card Class with some friends of my Mom's, it was a lot of fun stamping with you ladies - Adela (thanks for the use of the hall), Elaine, Irene, Becky and my Mom.  The next week, we had a craft day at my Mom's too and got some stamping done.

I didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few:

These are the birthday card class the ladies made.   I am repeating this class tomorrow and have 2 openings.....if you are in the Westminster, Maryland area and can make it, give me a call....starts at 10am. - Cost $20, includes everything except adhesive so bring your favorite.

These cards were made by the ladies on our craft day at Mom's

I love this one that Becky made....the designer paper had the designed embossed on it....cool!
Of course I had to share a picture of Rachel!   All bundled up for our walk.   After we got home from Florida, we had a few warm days so I met Christine and Rachel for a walk around a park (paved!!!) too much melting snow to go to an unpaved park.

Here is a card my Stamper's Club made for February...It uses the fantastic new Scallop Tag Topper punch#133324, $22.95.    I have used this punch SO much since receiving it a month ago, I just LOVE it.  SO, I have scheduled a class using this punch:   March 29th, 10a - 12noon (-/+) Scallop Tag Topper Punch Class - Cost $30, which includes the punch and 3  4 projects made with the punch; 2 different cards, a treat holder and a tag card.
