Stamp Club Cards...

These are the cards that my stamp club made this month. The first card was inspired by Amy Celona and the second card was inspired (ahem') by the sample in the Occasions mini catalog, pg 24. Some stampers tell me that they are not creative, but everyone is creative in there own way. Not sure where to start? Find a card you like, then copy it, change the colors to colors you have or like...change the stamps to your favorite set!, change the brad to a button or eyelet, change the ribbon to your favorite ribbon....Then the card you are copying becomes your own creation...... If you should publish a copy (even now your own creation) of a card - on a blog, website, etc. please give the original creator credit.....and if you can't remember, then state that too.

ENJOY these cards....

This card uses the scallop trim border punch that is available FREE as one of your choices during Sale a bration with the purchase of $50 or more.   Want to learn more, contact me.
The pink ribbon is one of the new yummy 5/8" satin ribbons that are in the Occasions mini catalog, pg 27.

Some Cards to share

These are some of the cards I have been making while at home watching it snow....

actually, these were done in Florida.   The two on the top were done with new Sale abration and Occasion mini sets...Clearmount rubber stamps!! and the bottom one is for my father in law's birthday. .. this saturday and I am not sure it is even going to get in the mail!!!  I have a lot of shovelling to do to get to my mailbox, unless a snowplow comes up the driveway!

and these are what I have been working on between the snowflakes.....These too, might not make it in the mail until next week.....
To my friends and family nearby, stay warm, don't shovel too much, take a break....eat some chocolate...

NOW THIS

These was just about an hr ago. I opened up the garage to see how much snow was added last night....and this is our driveway, which did get plowed on Tuesday...now snow covered. Some places are 3 or 4 feet high..

Oh what fun.....I think I am ready for another vacation!

TO THIS!!!

We arrived home to a LOT of snow, driveway not plowed.....It was not pretty.    Our wonderful neighbors, the Little's, let us park in the back of their driveway and then we walked over to our house.   WELL, this old, ovewight, outta shape gal.......it was horrible.   I thought I would have to go the ER...

FROM THIS......

This is Me last week on Daytona Beach, Florida. we had a great time, a cruise to the Bahamas, visiting my Mom and her husband, Ed. My Mom, Shirley Kiley and I even squeezed in some stampin'. AND ran into Sue McGrew at the Flea Market in Deland, FL.

We got to see the last nighttime Shuttle Launch and then drove home on Monday, arriving in Westminster, Maryland...

STAMPIN' UP!'S   MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Haitian Disaster Relief

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. In the past, when terrorists attacked the Twin Towers, when a tsunami struck Indonesia, when a hurricane destroyed New Orleans, and when wildfires ravaged Australia, Stampin' Up! demonstrators stepped forward and showed their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. This time is no different.
From now until February 28, 2010, you can partner with Stampin' Up! to make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of this devastating earthquake.
Stampin' Up! will set aside $2 from the sale of every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set and donate that money to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

Anyone wishing to purchase this stamp set, just contact me or go to my Stampin' Up! website, http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/stampergirl/ and click the shop now button in the upper right hand corner.
