Lightly up in CASEing the Catalog and today I got two of my customers to do it to with a challenge.

The first card was done by Linda, she cased page 34 using Celebrate Sunflowers and Sunflowers dies and the Flowering Foils DSP (retired). She also used the Brushed Brass Butterflies- perfect for cards….no extra weight or thickness, so no extra postage! Gorgeous card!

Next was my card and I CASEd page 72 using Forever Fern stamp set and Forever Flourishing dies. I also used vellum with the succulent dies. I ink blended Shimmer Cardstock with the blending brushes and various colors of ink and diecut the ferns. Here are those Brushed Brass Butterflies again. Running out, so I need to order more!

This card is made by Roberta, she CASEd page 56 using a different stamp set since she didn’t have that set. Demonstrators get to purchase it in October and get to play with it. And I did purchase it and started stamping with it, but life got in the way.

Here are some photos of cards I have made - this first one is my Thank Yous for November customers who ordered. I decided to put the “Thinking of You” on the front. Actually CASEd this card from a card using other techniques and stamps, just the placement of a flower in the corners….

This card I CASEd from Dawns Stamping. Thoughts, just the fun fold. The die cut is from the dies and the DSP I used is available for purchase while supplies last! And I think November 30th is the last day for the DSP. Well I sure hope I can change this ……beginning today!

Here is my thank you cards that I sent out to customers and team members alike for September. I used the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set and coordinating dies. This is in the July-December Catalog, or as I like to say, Holiday Catalog. It’s on page 45 and you can get just the stamp set, or the dies, but of course you really need both!

I left the greeting off and didn’t stamp a verse inside either…. I wrote on a post it note a message and this way they can recycle the card. Of course I stamped a matching envelope! You can’t send a naked envelope, can you?

Hope you have a great week and are able to share your creations with someone. You just might make their day.

Note: I restarted this blog post last week, before I could finish and post it, my Mom had a stroke and has been in hospital for almost a week. She’ll be 94 on Saturday and is really doing well and heading to a rehab center later today. And Hanukkah too!

Yes, I was inspired by a menorah I saw in Home Goods a month or so ago......so I started planning a card for my Jewish friends..... I need a tutor for the following: You Tube - not on how to do a video, but how to set up a channel, more than one channel. Changing channel from personal to a business. I have watched numerous You Tube videos how, but halfway through the steps, what they show on the screen doesn’t appear on my screen. iPhone/iPad photo tutor: I also need a few tips on taking better photos of my projects using my iPhone or iPad. I am sure either of these would not take much time, but I have spent too many hours searching and not getting anywhere. Willing to pay with Stampin’ Up! Merchandise or cash. Contact me if you can help. If I get those 2 items taken care of, I would love to be able to post to this blog more often!

In the meantime, sharing one of creations using the upcoming Dragonfly Garden set and items from the suite in the Mini catalog that starts in January.
Starting Fresh TODAY.

Here is a pretty easy card to make, not much supplies and super easy to create. You just need some scraps of cardstock and you can choose which colors to use, depending on who you are sending it to. I CASED this card from the Famous Bruno Bertucci - husband of also famous, Kylie Bertucci. It is fun and it goes together quickly. I made several - These two using a black card base and a white card base.
This one I made for my grandson - His favorite color is blue, so I just used blues a white layer and Blueberry Bushel card base. The boy and guitar are from a long ago retired set called Skating By.
This last one I added the daisy flower from the upcoming Set Ornate Style that is part of a Suite of Stamp sets, Coordinating Dies, embellishments and DSP. I fussy cut the daisy out as there are no dies for that.
Actually this class was a lot of fun! AND not too messy either with 4 stampers

I had ordered some embossing paste over a year ago and never used it! I hope I am not alone in purchasing items and not using them right away or ever.

Fast Forward to OnStage Atlanta - I received a Swap card from a gal that was sitting at the same table, also from Florida. I decided I was going to make that card for a card class. Well I did make it but I did not use the embossing paste. I hold my classes in a church hall and didn't want to be responsible for any messes. However, I did pull out my embossing paste, masks (stencils) and the palette tools and just started to play. I made a decent size mess and the end result was ok, but went in to the trashcan. About a week later, I decided to try again. This time I got a plastic placemat from the Dollar Tree, used some Washi tape to tape down my mask and cardstock and tried again. It turned out great and I made the card front into a card and sent it off to someone for their birthday.

I decided to hold a class in my house and limit the number of people to attend making it easier to contain any mess. There really wasn't any mess and everyone enjoyed playing with the paste and made a few cards and some cardfronts using various reinkers to color the paste.

Here are the cards we made and the cardfronts I
Being a demonstrator, we are able to preorder these during January....just another perk for joining my team. Oh, and did you see that cute paper cutter and 6x6 sampler of DSP in the back of the SAB catalog? Well that is another perk for joining my team. Anyone signing up during SAB gets the cutter and the DSP sampler! Current demonstrators were able to preorder it during December. I have used some of the papers and I use the cutter every time I stamp!

Join my team and get these plus other freebies when you join. I have a Facebook Group just for my team. It's fairly new, but is keeping us all in the loop and sharing too.
Go to my WEBSITE or contact me to join my team.
On Facebook a while back, someone had asked for birthday cards for their Aunt turning 100. Well I sent her a card and yesterday I received a card from her!

I was looking over some papers I have and noticed this written down. Where I got it from, I have no idea, but I LOVE IT.

So I typically hand out thank you notes frequently. I give them to my server in a restaurant, a store employee that helps me locate an item or just does something nice for me, even other customers. How about those who let me go ahead of them in line? How about when I am lost and ask someone for directions? And how about postal workers, UPS drivers, PRIME delivery, and so much more. YEP, they get one too! Spread the LOVE is what I like to call it.

Who else could use a card? Workers at the airport, taxi, uber drivers.....There are endless ways to spread the Love

About 15 years I started handing out small Thank You cards 3x3 size. A coworker gave me a tin to hold those cards so they stay nice in my purse. Typically I write a little note inside and sign it so I can just hand it to someone when I need to. This month’s Paper Pumpkin is great for that, 3x3 cards fit perfect. I don't have a photo of those items today, but will later this week.

There was a past Paper Pumpkin that was perfect too. Even had a carrying case for them. SO CUTE!

It’s been a loooong time since I was on here. Factors include, severe back pain, sciatia, Piriformis Syndrome......a fun trip to Italy and the Greek Isles with Stampin' Up! thrown in and a nonfunctioning iPad and life in general.

Starting tonight! I will attempt to change things. Acupuncture and Herbs have changed my health!

This may be long, but here goes:

I am just going to share my card projects from my class in Florida this month.

This is a cute 3x3 card that is #simplestamping. Ink, cardstock and stamps! Stamped in black memento ink if using alcohol markers, Stazon black if using anything with water...here I used aqua painter and Poppy parade reinker to color the poppies, so yes I used Stazon!
This is a z fold card.....super simple, cardstock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score 2 1/8 and 4 1/4. Fold in half at the 4 1/4 score and then fold opposite direction on the 2 1/8 score line. I made a layer of black cardstock and then used Birthday Bonanza DSP. I also used the birthday verse from Birthday Bonanza stamp set- from the Mini Catalog. Happy Birthday came from Itty Bitty Birthdays and classic label punch and the Bermuda Bay circle is from the layering circle dies all from the Annual Catalog. The black swirling circle is from the Painted Label Dies from the Mini catalog and the Gangs all Meer - from the Sale a Bration Catalog that you can choose for FREE with a $50 purchase. Stamped in Memento Black and colored in with Stampin blends.
We only made one of the bird cards....bottom left. Stamped in Memento Black ink and colored in using Stampin Blends. Tied a bow using Linen Thread. Bottom right is a card I CASEd from a swap I received from OnStage Atlanta, using Shimmer White Embossing Paste.... top card I stamped and colored, then ran it thru my Big Shot with the Scripty embossing folder.
Last Card is a Valentines Card. The two different DSP prints are actually the same paper, showing both sides! I cut the DSP 4 x 6 and put in my new little paper cutter - a extra perk for joint Stampin’ Up! During Sale a Bration! Cut on a diagonal, widest part 2”. Using snail I layered both sides together making sure the size measured correctly for front layer. I added ribbon to hide where the 2 papers meet. Using Heartfelt Bundle from Mini catalog, I punched 2 scallop hearts in Real Red and Flirty Flamingo, stamped the dotted heart and love you lots from the stamp set and arrow in Smoky Slate...fussy cutting it out. Add some dimensionals and faceted gems from that suite. The inside uses the stamps from Heart to Heart in Real Red ink......I just love those little hearts with the flowers...2 separte stamps, but photopolymer so easy to line up.

I guess life happenings got in my way of posting to my Blog.

A new goal for the New Stampin' Up! Year - Share more and not just on Facebook.

When searching the internet for some ideas, I went to look on My Create Ink - SU Color Lab - I knew I had checked months ago and NOTHING NEW, no new In Colors or the Color Renovation :(
I decided to check it because one of the colors was an older InColor! To My surprise, I found that they have updated their site, so I immediately went on the site and donated and now will go back and search the color combinations I was going to search.

Did you know they have support Stampin' Up!s, CTMH and Copic colors!!! I have it saved on the sidebar of my blog! I am a happy camper. If you use that site, I would suggest maybe giving a donation every now and then, even a small one could help keep it up to date quicker!

OK - So .......I will share a few things in the days and weeks to come. BUT THE BIGGIE -

I earned the Incentive Trip to Greece!!! Can you tell I am excited!!!!??!!!

Now I need to learn how to put that widget on my sidebar that says, cruising with SU to Greece!
and here is a card from my class last week. This is how I feel about the snow!!! Don't like the cold associated with it and since living in Florida for over 3 years now, I like it even less!

Today on my Facebook Page - Stampin with Stampergirl, I posted some cards I mailed out today. #makeacardsendacard I took 3 from my stash and picked three people, randomly that I thought could use a smile in their mailbox and sent the cards to them.

Stay tuned, there will be more coming - frequently!

You know those little dimensional tops! You take them off to adhere an item to your project, and try to throw away, or just sit aside. They get everywhere.....on the floor, tracked all over the house. and even outside, or in your car, you bed!

I came up with a simple solution and very inexpensive, plus you can give these little gems to your Stampin' Friends.

I sure wish I could keep up with blogging, but I am not good at trying to juggle all the technology! I will share when I can and maybe I will get better at it. Just not at this time. This post for instance was drafted back over a month ago. I needed to resize the photo. Life just got in the way!
If I'm cutting the card stock in half that will make two cardbases so I'll make two cards. For these cards below I used the swirly bird stamp set and the matching thinlits. I just love this set, it is great for any occasion, young or old. I made the two cards at the same time, along with my sister who made two cards too. One was a thinking of you, the other Enjoy the simple things in life! just because that's a great thing to enjoy the simple things in life. I CASEd the card off of Pinterest using the bird from the Petal Pallette set since that was the only bird we had and the matching thinlits cutting him out was super easy.
This post was delayed..I had pneumonia again, so these next few posts are a few weeks late

The other day a friend of mine and I got together to make the cards from the Perennial Birthday Kit. We both have the stamps and the kits. In just a few hours, we completed most of the cards. I completed 11 cards and she completed all 16 of hers later that day. I plan on finishing mine tonight. This kit is an awesome kit to give to anyone as a gift, filled with the cards or keep and when you are creating a card for someone's birthday that is later in the year....you have a place to put it. I love the box, it is gorgeous and the dividers are great with places to write birthdays on each month. The box is super cute and holds all of the cards and more.

I think it is beautiful and a perfect Wedding card. It was made by one of my Stampin' ladies, Kathy Raney and she shared it with me today at class. I knew I had to get it posted on here to share.

As I write this post, I am getting ready to head to Hartford Connecticut in two days to attend Stampin' Up!'s Onstage conference and am pretty excited. I will get to attend CenterStage Friday before the Onstage event. Meet with stampers that are part of a group I will be riding with and meet new stampers I have never met. Learn new tips, get the new catalog!!!! and have some awesome make and takes. Next week I will post photos and some things from Onstage.

I decided to try out the year of cheer DSP that we had in the holiday catalog. I cut a piece of the starburst paper and sponged it with some of my favorite colors. I took a piece of black Cardstock and put a piece of the adhesive sheets behind it and ran it through the Big Shot with the Birthday thinlits die. It was so easy to adhere the Happy Birthday to the card. I mounted it on a Marina Mist card base. I was going to add some rhinestones, but figured I would save those to add when I actually use the card.....If going to one of my grandsons or nephews, I won't be adding those.
I sent the first one out since her birthday was yesterday! Whew, on time! I CASED this card from Ann Clemmer, a fellow demo. While we are on opposite sides of the US, we get inspiration from all over. I think it was a twitter feed and I am rarely on twitter. Spending too much of life with family and friends, but I do see tweets from time to time.

The DSP I used is the Picture Perfect DSP 6x6 stack in the Occasions catalog, it is probably one of my favorites ever I have used over half the pack and plan on getting another pack to help with with all the birthday cards I send.

I used the Epic Celebrations stamp set from Sale a bration and the Celebration You thinlits also in the Sale a bration catalog, but those thinlits will be in the upcoming new catalog in June!

I layered the DSP with black and used black card stock for the thinlit greetings too. I glued them on with the Fine tip glue pen. I colored the sneakers in with Wisteria Wonder reinker and aqua painter. The other one I did for my other great niece I colored the sneakers in Pool party and added glue and dszzling diamonds glitter on the shoes.
