Amazing Sunrise
On Valentine’s Day morning I woke up and peered out the
window, it was a cloudy morning with just a tiny spot of sun peeking out of the
clouds. As I stood and watched, the
sun got brighter and brighter, but just the small spot, not much bigger. It was beautiful though and while I was
standing there watching the sunrise, it reminded me of the Creator. I'm so THANKFUL that I was able to see this amazing sunrise.
About 15 minutes after this picture was taken, the sun disappeared for the rest of the day.
3 x 3 Saleabration (SAB) Cards
I did make some cards in my "hotel craft room". I used several items from the SAB catalog, the stamp set, Patterned Occasions, Sycamore Street DSP and ribbon and the Vine Street embossing folder. Each of these items from the SAB catalog you can get FREE with a $50 purchase. When I go out to a restaurant, I put the waiter's tip in a 3x3 card with a note thanking them for good service. Last weekend, I met my brother's new "step grandchildren" and while talking with them about their hobbies, I showed them mine, the 3x3 cards that I carry in my purse. They loved them, so a few days later when I met up with my brother and sister in law, I gave them some of the 3x3 cards I showed their grand kids cause they really showed an interest in them.
Here are the cards I made: This first picture shows 3 of them, all a little different, but using the same stamp. The Thanks is from Million Dollar Moments, a Hostess Only set in the Spring Catalog. I used Island Indigo as the card base for all three cards.
This first card, I used a 2 3/4" scrap of DSP from the SAB catalog, and the label framelits in Summer Starfruit and Whisper White and stamped the pair of jeans in Pool Party. I stamped the Thanks in Early Espresso and punched out a little flower from the trio punch that is in the regular catalog and added a rhinestone on top.
This next card, uses another scrap of DSP from the Sycamore Street DSP and this print is my favorite. I also embossed the Tangerine Tango circle with the Vine Street embossing folder and then punched out with the 2 1/2" circle punch. I stamped the jeans in pool party and added a small heart (from the 3 heart punch, retired) and some rhinestones
Here is the 3rd card embossed with the Vine Street embossing folder, I took the label framelits and cut 2 of the same size, one in Tangerine Tango and one in Whisper White and layered one horizontal and the stamped image vertical. I tied a piece of pool party ribbon also from the SAB catalog and a rhinestone.
I hope you like these little cards, they are super easy and quick to make. These 3x3 cards utilize your scraps of DSP, card stock, ribbons and embellishments. Saleabration is good now thru March 22nd....purchase $50 in merchandise(before shipping and tax) and choose one of the items in the SAB catalog for FREE.
ENJOY!

Raining in Florida
What do you in Florida when it is raining!!!! You stamp of course……Well; at least that is
what I did.
I am on vacation in Florida for a few weeks, enjoying the
warmer temperatures, visiting my Mom, brother and his family, attending Sprint Car
races and just some R&R. We headed
to Ormond Beach to stay for a few days and each evening, travel about 30 mins to
watch the Sprint car races. First
night…rain. Second night, rain…
With no other plans for the evenings, after eating dinner,
we went back to the hotel for the evening.
I had set up a mini stamp room.
Our room is like a small efficiency, with fridge, table and chairs, two
queen beds, a luggage table, and another table and chairs. I set up a Big Shot, table top paper cutter,
punches, embossing folders, and framelits on the luggage table. On the round table was my stamping place and
my laptop. My daughter, Robyn sells 31Bags and one of the bags holds all the stamp sets, inks and card stock that I
have brought along with me.
Here is my 31 tote bag filled with the stamp sets, inks, card stock, adhesive, a few markers, rhinestones and some dimensionals. I can never go anywhere without dimensionals, how about you? Do you love those little adhesive pop ups for all your projects as much as I do?
Here are a few card fronts I made with the Swallowtail stamp that is in the Spring catalog.
I have some more pictures to share, next post.
Internet has not been good at all, unable to get on Internet most of the time, then when I am connected, I will suddenly get bumped offline!!!
ENJOY!

Lost Blog Posts....
This year I am working on my blog and blogging, more posts, more pictures, and even videos....While clearing some of the files, I found 10 blog posts!!!!, they were never posted. Some were about ribbon and DSP shares that I have going on all the time. If you want to be a part of them, or have questions about them give me a call, txt or email. I split the ribbons and card stock between 2 or 3 people only and the DSP only with 2 people. So let me know which ones you would like to participate in.
This post below is one of the Lost Blog Posts I found today, the others I deleted and then decided to use this one.
Here are the club cards for May.... I copied both cards from the Stampin' Connection. What's that? It is like facebook for Stampin' Up! demonstrators where we share everything stampin'. There are thousands of samples, videos, tips and more. Just one of the benefits of being a demonstrator, and with the Demonstrator Kit now only $99...and that is the price all the time!! You get a discount, ability to earn money and have fun stampin' and creating too.
I hold a Stampin' Club in my home every month, on the 3rd Friday evening and the 3rd Sunday afternoon, where I design 2 projects. This month with the approach of Father's Day, and Graduations, the first card, could be used for either of these Occasions as well as Birthdays and more.
The card uses the stamp set, Daring Adventure. It's in the elements section of the catalog, even the new catalog. I used all 4 stamps from the set, I used river rock for the card base and added a small strip of Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper, I embossed a piece of chocolate chip card stock using the houndstooth embossing folder and smeared vanilla ink on top of it. I stamped the words in chocolate chip and the footprints and the accent on the card in River rock, but stamped off before stamping each one for a softer look. I tied some always artichoke denim ribbon around the card at the point where the designer series paper is attached, so if I put it on crooked (which happens!!!) the ribbon hides that. I tied a simple knot, which I find is easier than tying a bow. I put 2 brads next to the greeting and adhered it to the card using dimensionals. If you wanted to use this card for a female and wanted to make it more feminine, just change the colors of the card stock, ink and designer series paper, ribbon and brads.
