Stampers Club Cards

Here are the Stampers Club Cards for January.

This first card is a star burst card....a great way to use up some of those smaller pieces of DSP.

Cut DSP in strips of 1 1/2" x 3".   Put a strip in your paper trimmer and  place so that you are cutting diagonally on the long side.   On my card I also used some pieces of card stock that I embossed using various embossing folders.

Next take a scrap piece of  paper    4  1/4"  X  3", I used some cheap, thin card stock and measured half way at 2 1/8" and drew a line from top to bottom.    Next using Stampin' Up's great glue sticks applying glue over entire covering over  entire piece.  Start placing your DSP strips beginning at center line and the next on the other side of the line and keep alternating til the whole piece is covered, making sure the strips cover all the tips of the corners.   Let glue dry about 2 or 3 minutes.

I used the label framelits cutting the smaller in whisper white card stock and the next size in crisp cantaloupe, and used  the paper piercing template and pierced around the edge.   I used the stamp set from Sale a bration (SAB) Petal Parade and stamped all over using the colors in the DSP, Sweet Sorbet (also from SAB).   I stamped the birthday greeting in basic black ink.

This is a little Valentie treat holder using the scalloped tag topper punch, punching both ends.  I used a 1 7/8" by 5" piece of card stock and  scored it at 1 7/8" and 3 1/8", wrapped my Hershey's nugget in some festive  DSP and secured candy with some snail.   Tied some real red stitched ribbon at top and stamped the front using Around Array stamp set and 7/8" scallop circle punch and used the new banner punch for the tag and an image from one of the Valentine special stamp sets.   These were so quick and easy to make...for any occasion.

My favorite stamp set in the new Occasions catalog, Happy Watercolor.   I CASEd this card from Stampin' Up's! Demo only magazine, just another benefit of being a demo.    I used whisper white card stock and stamped "the blob" in coastal cabana (I stamped off each time).  I stamped the flower in smoky slate, the. Stamped another one on a scrap piece of whisper white card stock, using black staz on ink.   I colored the flower in using crisp cantaloupe and my aqua painter.  I cut it out using one of my favorite tools, my paper snips....the best tool for $10.00.

I have been enjoying Fllorida's sunny weather and glad to miss all the snowy cold weather at home.  Heading home tomorrow.
