Recently, I decided to stop drinking so much Diet Coke and started drinking Crystal Light, with the ENERGY. It has worked, I do feel a lot better, not sure how much nutrasweet is in Crystal Light compared to Diet Coke. My energy level is better and I don't munch as much. I'll report in a month to give you my progress report.
While reading emails on a Demo group I belong to, I read a email about a drink treat box...intrigued, I went to the blog and watched the video. Simple and cute. SO, I sat down today and made one. NOW with the Stampin' Up! Simply Scored, this was a piece of cake! I watched the video and took some notes and grabbed some card stock and made the box. It took about half an hour to make, reading my notes, I did go back and watched the video again to make sure I made it the same. She, Cristena is giving a Free online class for her summer edition to 2 winners from those who submit their treat box. I decided to give it a try, and here is my box:
I know there is a lot of stuff behind and around my treat box, but the picture I took of it with a white background just did not do it justice. I used tempting turquoise card stock for the box and bird image, I think most of the Brights color collection are summer colors....I put 4 different drink treats in the box and added a strawberry to the front of my box. I used one of my favorite stamp sets, The Best of Everything. Check out Cristena's blog. Enjoy!!!

Forever Young
One of my friends, has the stamp set, Forever Young and it reminds me so much of my youngest daughter, always on a swing as a young girl...we never had one attached to a big tree, but she loved the swing set. Thinking back to when I was young (many years ago!!!!!!!!!!!) I loved the swings too.
Here is the card I made:
I used the stamp set, Forever Young, and the greeting is from Petite Pairs. The card base is Calypso Coral and the embossed card stock is Pool Party (my new favorite color). I stamped the tree in Soft Suede and the used soft suede card stock layered behind the tree and used three punches in lucky limeade, soft suede and whisper white for the greeting. I added 3 tiny pearls to the edge of the greeting.
This is an original, I used the sketch from Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge. I need to challenge myself more to use all those stamp sets I have and joining a challenge like this is the best way to do it. Go There and check out all the wonderful cards others have submitted. AND I Challenge you to do a Challenge too.
ENJOY!

Stamper's Club Cards
Here are April's Stamp Club Cards.....both cards were copied almost completely from cards I saw on spilt coast stampers or stampers connection (Stampin' Up! demos site).
I decided to use some stamp sets and punches I have not used in a while. Create a cupcake punch and matching stamp set. I coordinated the colors with the satin ribbon (being retired) and the DSP. I used the eyelet punch on the front and the inside dsp. I tried the inside dsp without the punch border, but didn't like it.
Colors used: Pretty in Pink satin ribbon and dsp. Early Espresso ink.
This next card uses one of my favorite retiring stamp sets (will still keep this set in my stash)
The card base is baja breeze (a favorite), with matching ink and seam binding. the next layer is pink pirouette and I sponged the matching ink over the white embossed flowers that I stamped - which is my favorite technique - embossed resist. I also used an embossing folder that is the strip of hearts. stamped some Certainly celery vines and used a label stamp from four frames stamp set and colored the frame using the certainly celery marker and the bird using the baja breeze marker, then stamped and punched the label with the decorative label punch. I stamped a greeting in pink pirouette ink...notice all the colors of card stock have matching inks and markers and accessories. Oh how I love that Stampin' Up! coordinates all those items.
