Stampin' Club Cards for March

These are the club cards for March.  The first card uses Your My Type stamp set in the Occasions Mini catalog.   This set is just not my type, even though I worked many years as a typist...I decided to step out of my comfort zone and get this set cause it is perfect for men or women or even kids.   I inked the typewriter first in versamark ink and then in Early Espresso ink, stamped the image on very vanilla card stock and embossed the image with clear embossing powder and heat set.   It made the image glossy, just like I remember my IBM and Remington typewriters when I worked at SSA a lifetime ago.  I love the look of two corners opposite each other rounded and I used the large corner rounder that is retired, but gave the best look.  The Greeting is attached with dimensionals and a mini library clip at the top of the page...I used
Artichoke denim jean ribbon and just tied a knot in the ribbon on the right side.  With just a change in the embellishment (mini library clip, ribbon) you could use a flower and brad, or a button, ruffled ribbon and of course change the colors and DSP too for a woman or a child's card.

This next card I CASEd from Stampin' Connection, Melissa Davies. I used Twitterpatted DSP and all the colors that are in the DSP are the colors I used.  Pear Pizzazz, Basic Gray, Whisper White card stocks, blushing bride pleated satin ribbon, and I colored the image with markers and blender pens using the colors calypso coral and pear pizzazz.  The bottom edge of the front of the card was embossed and cut using the Adorning Accents edgelits dies and embossing folders.  The flower image is from Bordering on Romance stamp set in the Occasions Mini and the greeting is from the Hostess Set, Happiest Birthday.  I added some Crystal Effects right before bedtime (so that I don't leave fingerprints from testing to see if it's dry)!!!

February Stamper Club Cards

Have been super busy with vacation and stampin' in Florida with my Mom.   Last week I had a lot of fun with my new granddaughter Rachel.....Stay tuned for some updated pictures...I just can't help taking pictures of her....

First though, here are the Stamper Club cards we did in February.  The first one was a complete CASE of Connie Babbert.   I loved the colors, so bright and cheerful, especially when the weather outside is gloomy.

The card base is Pool Party card stock with a layer of Calypso Coral and the FREE Everyday Enchantment DSP from the Saleabration Mini Catalog.   The Lucky Limeade center piece was cut using the Labels collection Framelit from the Occasions Mini Catalog and is embossed with the Elegant Lines embossing folder.   I stamped the flowers from the Mixed Bunch stamp set with Calypso Coral ink and punched them out with the new  Blossom Punch, both from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I stamped  the centers using pool party ink and punched out with the 1" circle punch.  The greeting uses Birthday Wishes from a set that I can't remember since I made this card at my Mom's in Florida using her sets.  The ribbon is a retired old olive ribbon from a couple of years ago, but goes well with all the other colors.  The brads are from the glimmer brads in the Idea book and Catalog, pg 199.

Here is the 2nd Stamp Club card:

This card is a Pretty in Pink card base.   I used the  New Edition Speciality Paper that is in the Idea Book and Catalog, p 183...and you get 24   12"x12" papers in this pack for $12.95, that 63 cents per sheet and that includes Shipping and Tax too.  I stamped crowns and keys with versamark ink and embossed them Pewter embossing powder.   Attached to that paper is a piece of very vanilla card stock. The stamped frame and greeting are from the Elementary Elegance stamp set from the Saleabration catalog and you could choose that set as your FREE item.  I stamped the images using versamark and used the Pewter embossing powder and added a pretty in pink layer behind the frame and used dimensionals to pop it off the card.  The ribbon is Regal Rose grossgrain ribbon.    Perfect card for a Princess....or a Queen.

Rachel

OK, I can't have a bunch of posts and not include a picture of Rachel.....

Last week I got a chance to babysit while Mom went back to work, I spent a few days with her and enjoyed her SO much.   I took probably a dozen pictures, but will limit myself to just one per post, maybe next week I will post a new one....  It's a wonder her cheeks aren't chapped with all the kisses I give her!

Birthday Card

Here is a Birthday Card I CASEd from Mary Fish that uses the Fresh Vintage stamp set that you could choose to get FREE from the Salebration catalog.  The card uses Peach Parfait as the card base and matching Peach Parfait DSP.   The stamp image is colored using Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz markers.   The greeting is from the set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Peach Parfait ink and punched out with the Word Window Punch and layered on a peach parfait card stock punched out with the modern label punch.  The card is a different fold card, using  a 4 1/4" x 11" card stock scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" folding these in opposite directions with the first score line folding back against the front of the card.   The stamped image is cut out using the labels embosslit and backed with the next size in Peach Parfait card stock.  I attached this to the flap of the card using dimensionals aligning the pointed part of the label with the fold.  Attach ribbon and tie shut or you could leave the ribbon off.
